FRONTYS brings fire control to the front of the tractor

A NSW-based innovator has developed a patent-pending, front-mounted firefighting and utility system for tractors, giving farmers instant, in-cab-controlled fire suppression, water and fuel on hand, and safer solo operations. When a fire takes hold on-farm, every minute mat- ters. Speed of response and operator safety are para- mount. That’s why FRONTYS is designed to protect you while staying on the move. With rear-mounted water systems, the operator must stop, get off the tractor, fire up the pump, and then approach the fire. One farmer lost a new tractor and header from a spark, because the ute carrying the water was over a kilometre away. The result was catastrophic. A small spark becomes a $1 million loss in minutes. This challenge sparked an invention from Hunter Valley manufacturer Kube Fabrications. FRONTYS has been designed, developed, and tested with farmers, water-spraying specialists, and industry leaders in firefighting skids, trailers, and water-transfer. “It’s about tackling the fire at the point of ignition,” he says. “Staying mobile, staying in the cab, and hit- ting it before it gets away from you — that’s what saves machinery, costs, and keeps people safe.” The global patent-pending FRONTYS system mounts to the front of a tractor or telehandler and gives the operator immediate, cabin-controlled fire suppression. It turns “wasted real estate”, as farmers

call the tractor front, into a critical safety zone. The FRONTYS carry-all offers true versatility, suit- able for a slide-in water tank, water-plus-fuel modular tanks, or use as a front-mounted transport platform for hay, tools, or even small livestock. Farmers retain full use of their PTO implements at the rear. With left-, right-, or dual-spray options and ad-

justable flow, the operator remains mobile and shielded while fighting the fire. FRONTYS is a practical, on-board insurance package for farmers on both broadacre and hobby farms alike. If something goes wrong, water or fuel is immediately at hand, exactly when you need it.
